Hamburg Welcome Portal English – About us
Our service offers:
Local Administration Service for foreign qualified executives and students
Residence permits and registration services
In addition to providing general information for new citizens, the Hamburg Welcome Center also provides a service whereby foreign executives, experts, scientists, self-employed individuals, students and their families can directly manage the legal aspects of the registration and immigration processes. When issuing you with an appointment, we will also tell you what documentation you should bring along e.g. for:
- Domicile registration
- Residence and permanent settlement permits
- Visa extensions for those travelling on business
- Acceptance of declarations of commitment
- Application for good-conduct certificates
We also offer consultation for companies who wish to hire foreign personel, in all aspects of handling the procedures related to residence and settlement law.
(The aforementioned services are offered in addition to the services of Hamburg’s Disctrict Offices. Therefore you can alternatively visit your local District Office or Customer Centre for these services, of course.)
